Welcome  to  Amor Salsita, where our journey began with a dash of inspiration and a whole lot of love.

It all started during the challenging days of COVID-19 when my sister and I found ourselves stuck at home with time on our hands. One evening, after a few micheladas and craving Ensenada-style fish tacos, we realized we needed the perfect spicy salsa to complement our creation. That’s when I remembered the Hatch chiles we had from a recent roasting event. With curiosity and determination, we embarked on a salsa-making adventure.

Batch after batch, we experimented tirelessly until we perfected what would become our famous seasonal Hatch Chile Salsa. We discovered that less is more when it comes to blending flavors, and we drew inspiration from the teachings of our Abuelita and parents, who instilled in us the art of cooking with love. Using everyday ingredients straight from our kitchen, we recreated the warmth and flavors that defined our family meals.

Growing up, our kitchen was more than just a place to cook; it was a sanctuary filled with laughter, stories, and the comforting aroma of homemade meals. It was at the family table where we shared not only food but also moments of joy and connection. Amor - love in Spanish - was the secret ingredient that brought us closer together and inspired us to share our passion for authentic, homemade salsas with others.
