  • 1 teaspoon Salsa Roja Hot

  • Juice of ½ lime – freshly squeezed

  • Juice of ½ lemon –

  • Freshly ground black pepper – to taste

  • Ice cubes – for chilling

  • 1 cold Mexican beer (e.g., Corona, Modelo, or Pacifico)

  • Optional: Celery salt or Tajín seasoning – for rimming the glass

  • Optional garnishes: lime wedge, celery stalk, or green olives

Preparation

1. If desired, rim the edge of a tall glass with lime juice and dip it into celery salt or Tajín seasoning to coat.

2. In a separate tall glass or mixing pitcher, combine the Clamato, olive juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot salsa roja, lime juice, lemon juice, and freshly ground black pepper. Stir well to blend the flavors.

3. Fill the prepared 16oz glass with a few ice cubes, 6oz of michelada mix, about a quarter of the way full.  The ratio should  be about 1/4 of mix to 3/4 of beer.

4. Slowly pour the chilled beer into the glass, allowing it to mix gently with the cocktail base. Adjust the beer amount to your taste preference, typically about 4–6 ounces.

5. Garnish with a lime wedge, a celery stalk, or green olives for added flair and flavor. Serve immediately and enjoy responsibly.
